Bottled up Emotions | The Keeper Diaries
We all have emotions and feelings that we keep bottled up for no reason at all which in turn affects us in the longer run. These bottled up emotions affect our psyche and make us feel low throughout time.
Have you ever had such a moment where you want to say a lot but end up saying nothing?
What I found was there are some great ways to deal with bottled up emotions which can really help you to go out and release all that pressure that you were carrying for no reason at all.
- Find a Friend– Easier said than done. Isn’t it? Well, it all depends on the way you look at things. I know it can be hard to find friends these days who can listen to you and not blabber about their own problems. But, it's not impossible. There are always people around us who are willing to give us a hand when we need it. It’s just that our vision gets cloudy because of all the stress from the bottled up emotions. What I will advise is to find a friend to talk to and let it all out.
- Worry Less– I guess this is the solution to almost every problem. We always exaggerate our problems and look at things in a way that allows us to worry a lot. I would suggest you take some time to calm down and breathe. The feelings and emotions are all temporary and they all die down in a matter of time. So, no need to worry. Just give it some time and start to look at things that deserve your time.
- Always Stay Positive– That should be the mantra of life. Always stay positive no matter what. Life is sure to bring situations where you can only see the negative and not think about anything else. Well you need to train your brain to only think about the positive and it can be done, it just takes a little time. Next time when your brain starts to wander towards the negative side just wake up and remind yourself that you have to stay positive no matter what.

One Extra Promise
The vows were being read. She had her 7 vows and I had 7 of mine. The moment to cherish for a lifetime. But, she stopped in the middle and asked for an extra vow, an extra promise for a lifetime.
The extra promise was to always say sorry even when it was not my fault. It was less of a promise and more of a trend. I always had to apologize even when it was not my fault. She had her ways of making me the culprit at the end. It was kind of cute when I look back at it. If she ever asks you to apologize even when she is wrong. Just do it. Your relationship is far more important than just a word.

The day I leave the umbrella at the house is the day it rains. But, this is my fault, right? I should check the weather before leaving the house.

Love begins with all of these:
*Little act of kindness*
Love doesn't lie in the biggest of efforts. It begins with small things like helping them or doing something good for them without their asking. That's where your real love comes out.
*Caring without effort*
If you have to make an effort to care for someone. You know that you are not in love. Love allows you to put someone else above your own needs. Love makes you wanna see them in their best and most importantly without making any effort.
*Trusting without boundaries*
There are no buts when you say you trust someone. There is no situation when you have to doubt that person. When you say you trust somebody, you trust with all that you have, without any worries.
Spread the positivity with me. Let's go hand in hand and make this world a better place.

You and Me Forever...
Air conditioning was set to 23 degrees not too cold and not too hot but it was still an odd number which always bugs me somewhere deep down so I switched it to 22.
You were in deep sleep lying next to me. As pretty as always, I kept staring at your closed eyes for more than forever. I don’t know how but, I could stare at them even when they are closed and a quick glance at the cutest little nose of yours, almost sliding my finger at your nose but somehow, I resisted myself. I just wanted my finger to slide from your nose to your lips. Your cute soft beautiful lips. My finger would have landed on your lips which would have been swiftly replaced by my own lips giving you a little peck just after moving a strand of hair behind your ear. I wanted nothing to come in between you and me.

Are we spending or investing?
I have been asking this question to myself every other day, today it's your turn to answer this question.
Are we really spending on space exploration or are we investing?
I personally feel that the billions of dollars spent on space exploration can be used to help the millions of people in need. Not all but, some for sure.
The lives lost due to the shortage of money or a huge debt is increasing each year all around the globe. People are obliged to live in temporary houses which are not able to withstand the extreme natural calamities like floods or earthquakes; some houses are sabotaged even by the strong winds.
NASA spends about $16 billion every year. Don't you think we are spending a lot?
Most importantly, Is this really an investment?
We are hell bound on spending money to find a place to live when the planet we are living on is of no use. But, shouldn't we be spending on making the current situation better, rather than planning for hundreds of years ahead.
It's not like we are doing absolutely wrong but what about the people that we are trading for these huge projects?
In 2011 alone, 874,000 people died of poverty all over the world. Isn't that something to look upon? Could this number have been reduced if there was some monetary help from the government to the poor people?
A Times of India news state that around 10,000 farmers suicide in India every year since 2013. India has a huge agricultural sector and if this is the number of suicides each year then most probably we are onto something very bad.
For 2017-18, Indian Space Research Organisation is allocated a total budget of Rs. 9093 crore.
Are we even capable of understanding this? Are we just letting this pass in plain sight?
To make things even worse by 2022, Aurora Station, a luxury hotel in space will be ready to host people for a 2-week luxury stay for a cost of $10 million. Like this is the ultimate thing we need. What do people even think before working on projects like these? What are governments doing while authorizing such projects?
We are advancing in terms of technology at a very fast pace but what are we leaving behind? A lot of dead bodies I reckon.
We have chosen to explore space while leaving a huge chunk of the population dying on land. Yes, everyone needs advancement in the way the world works, but where does all the help vanish when the time comes for the poor and the needy.
I still think what we are investing in is actually spending. If even the half of spending is turned towards the betterment of the people on Earth, the ratio between the poor and the rich might change for good.

This sound by a bird is the alarm clock of thousands of people living in slums.
Another day the sun comes up. The summer mornings are beautiful unless you are a day laborer living in your dark dungeon of a place. It was a total of one room. You could finish the whole place in mere 5 steps. The kitchen was outside on the small narrow street. I need not tell you where they excrete, you can guess yourself.
It was around 5:30 in the morning. Ram got up and sneaked out of the place without waking up his two little kids. It was his morning ritual for the last one year, to wake up and walk 2 km to the well. On his way was a large neem tree from where he used to break a small branch and clean his teeth while keeping enough in his pocket for his kids. From the well, he draws two buckets of water for the whole day, which consisted of cooking, cleaning, and drinking. His kids were always up, by the time he gets home.

They are one of us and one in a million in fact. Gloomy they might look but the fire in their hearts still wants to last. Yes, they are the children of someone's wrongful past or maybe someone who couldn't keep up with the world's pace. Have you ever thought of adopting a child?The answer might be no. But I want to ask, why is it so?

I was terrified, finding myself alone.
I could hear the sobbing.
I sensed dejection.

Looking back at my childhood, I realize how lucky I am to be raised in a family which could provide everything that I wanted. You reading this article might also feel the same. But, this couldn't be said for kids who are born in slums and spend their entire childhood on streets. Yes, some kids transformed their childhood with sheer dedication and a bit of luck. one definitely needs the luck to rise from ashes.
Have you ever thought about the other children who couldn't make much of their lives?
DO you even know what their options are?
It's hard for them to even exist in this world. The kids working in the stalls and factories have to lead a very difficult life. Some of them resort to the darker side; stealing, hurting others, or even killing. Obviously, this is not what they want, they are being pushed to do things they never imagined. I am not favoring this, I am just trying to explain what they might be going through.
So coming to what we can do towards the betterment of the future of these poor kids.
Well if you are young, you can ask your parents to spend some of their money in helping these poor kids by providing education to maid's son or daughter instead of donating lakhs and thousands of rupees in temples, mosques, and church every year.
If you are an independent person, you can start by planning your future in a better way. For example, if you are thinking of having 2 kids, then adopt one kid or I would say adopt both kids from some orphanage. For you it will be the same pleasure of having a kid but, for the kid, it might change his/her whole life.

Something cool so let's do it? Someone's happy smoking or drinking so, we should do it too? Someone else is betting so, we should also put our money at risk? Others are bullying someone so, we should do the same? Everybody's opting for a certain course so I should also do that? Is this kindof imitation right?
George Bernard Shaw beautifully said,
"Imitation is not just the sincerest form of flattery, it's the sincerest form of learning."
From the beginning, we learn by imitating others. A child learns things by watching his parents and copying the same act. We were designed in a way to learn from others. But are we doing the right thing by imitating what we see?
As a child we don't have much of an option, our thinking level is low. So we do what we see. But, being an adult we have an understanding level where we can decide what's wrong and what's right for us. Are we making the right decision?
It's actually not cool to do something that someone else is doing. That doesn't describe who you are. Be unique in what you do. Stand out. In school and college, we see students bullying other students so we do the same once we are seniors because that's the trend, that's what everybody else has been doing. But, is that right? Firstly you don't have to be a part of it and secondly do something to stop if that's wrong. You will be way cooler than what you thought.
If imitating is what you are good at. Then imitate people who are successful, who are humble and who are good from heart.
Read the stories of leaders, entrepreneur, celebrities, what they did and how they became so big from being nothing a few years back. Learn from their stories on how they kept going on what they liked and never looked back. This is where are imitating quality should be used not to turn ourselves into a junkie.

LOVE-HEARTBREAK-GIVING UP Is that what life is?
Have you ever been heartbroken? Have someone left you at a crucial stage in life? Have you ever thought of giving up? Have you been in that moment where everything looks annoying?
Well, you might be stupid enough to think that you should give up because someone left you. What is up with this generation? Giving up so easy? Thinking about giving up on life? Have you ever given a thought of what might happen to your parents? What they might feel?
A lot of questions and no answers. This is life and this is the way it will be. If you loved someone then have the balls to take the pain that comes with it. Not all love stories end on a happy note. But don't you dare think that you have lost everything. Just look around yourself, there are people who want to just see you smile. There are people who pray for your good health every single day. Are you doing justice to them? Is it okay to leave everyone behind just for one single person? Is your family, friends, colleagues going to be same without you? No, of course not.
Just think before doing anything. There's going to be just this one single life and this is what you want to make out of it? Next time this thought comes to your mind, just do one thing. Call one of your friends and ask what you mean to them. Maybe that will change your decision. Talk to your parents, grandparents they'll tell you what you are to them.
Yes someone left you but don't people leave every time? Yes, you were in love but who said love cannot happen twice? Yes, you feel like everything's over but this is life. You are going to get this feeling over and over again but you don't have to get on your knees and cry, rather get back up and fight your way to the very top where everyone that left you would wanna come back to you.
I want to ask you, Do you think giving up is the right decision?
